![]() ![]() Basically you'll need to treat the muzzle flash as a camera flash, and tweak the settings to match exposure. It just depends on extra goodies from there. ![]() Honestly, any camera with manual modes will be able to do it. I'll have to play around with it sometime. Photos to come later tonight of the new shoot, but until then here are some of the cinemagraphs and some muzzle flash photos from the last few years. If you go nuts, the effect is horrible, but subtle can look pretty awesome. I'm still very new to video, so it's doubtful I'll get a super fantastic and detailed shot of a muzzle flash (I'm going to try though) BUT I can make a cinemagraph from a single still. I'm bringing a 1911, my Arfcom rifle with Rainier Arms XTC, and a 13.7" with BE Meyers 249f on it, just to see how they perform. Lots of NFA stuff, comps, etc, so it should be pretty interesting all said and done. Gearing up to go take some big fireball photos in a two hours or so. ![]()
